Yooh data processing
The webservice yooh.io collects and process user data provided by registered or anonyme visitors.
Yooh is processing the following user data:
- Uploaded images, MEME, links, text, tags, date & time, created via yooh editor or our comment functionality
- Anonymized ip addresses
- Session cookies
- E-Mail and general user account information, if a login is created.
- Linked MEME provided by tenor.com service
- Linked images provided by yooh.io service
Yooh user account information:
- We do not sell your user data like E-Mail address or any account information.
- We do not store any credit card information.
- We do not show your E-Mail address to other users or parties.
- You can delete your account and user data anytime. The removal of your data can take up to 48h. User made drawings via the editor are not deletable.
- We may send E-Mails to your acccount just for information purpose only. You can deactivate E-Mail notification in the yooh management.
Yooh session & cookies
We process the following categories as a matter of "contractual necessity", meaning that we need to process the data to perform under our Terms of Service with you, which enables us to provide you with the Services.
If you are a resident of the European Union ("EU"), United Kingdom, Lichtenstein, Germany, Italy, Norway, or Iceland, you may have additional rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR") with respect to your Personal Data.

- The service yooh.io needs cookies to work properly. Without the listed cookies, the web Service would not work.
- yooh_session is needed for registration and login functionality
- yooh_session_id is needed for "like" and "report" functionality
- MATOMO_SESSID is needed for page views, like error pages, best performing yooh entries pages, detect unneeded pages to improve the user experience
You can also switch off cookies completely. You have to do this in your browser setting. If you do so, we can not garantee yooh is working properly.
Motomo
Matomo is an open source web analytics platform. A web analytics platform is used by a website owner in order to measure, collect, analyse and report visitors data for purposes of understanding and optimizing their website. Purpose of the processing
Matomo is used to analyse the behaviour of the website visitors to identify potential pitfalls; not found pages, search engine indexing issues, which contents are the most appreciated… Once the data is processed (number of visitors reaching a not found pages, viewing only one page…), Matomo is generating reports for website owners to take action, for example changing the layout of the pages, publishing some fresh content… etc.
Matomo is processing the following personal data:
- Anonymized ip addresses
- Anonymized browser information
- Date and time
- Title of the page being viewed
- URL of the page being viewed
- URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page
- Screen resolution
- Time in local timezone
- Files that were clicked and downloaded
- Link clicks to an outside domain
- Pages generation time
- Country, region, city
- Main Language of the browser
- User Agent of the browser
Matomo analytics OPT-OUT:
If you do not want to help us improve the service, you can opt out of the matomo service.
